Mosquito Spraying: The community has applied for mosquito spraying services from the Maryland Department of Agriculture (MDA). The spraying will occur once per week on Sunday evenings between 7:00 p.m. and 2:30 a.m. from May 28 through September 30, 2025. If MDA needs to fog on a different night due to mosquito borne illness, a press release will be issued and residents with exemptions will be notified. Please stay indoors while fogging operations are being conducted. If you wish to have your personal properties exempted from this spraying service, please fill out the form on the following link and return to the MDA. https://mda.maryland.gov/plants-pests/Documents/MosquitoControlExemptionForm.pdf

2026 Community Cleanup Program: Anne Arundel County is providing a dumpster to the community that will be dropped off the morning of April 20 and picked up when full or before noon on April 22. The dumpster will be located in the parking area of Beach One. Unacceptable materials include: junk automobiles, trailers, gas and propane tanks, tree trunks and logs, oil drums and tanks, liquids, metal items, liquids, grass clippings and leaves, hazardous waste, boats, tires, batteries, paint, refrigerators, air conditioners, cardboard, paper, plastic and glass. Many items residents dispose of during the Community Clean-up event can be more efficiently managed through the weekly curbside collection program.
